| Cabin Baggage and Size Allowed |

| Each passenger is allowed just one piece of luggage through the airport search point with a maximum size of 56cm x 45cm x 25cm (note: the re-sealable bag must be able to fit within the cabin bag). Additional items, for example hand bags, will be required to fit inside the one permitted item of carry on baggage. |

| Outsize Items |
| |
All items of luggage which do not fit in the permitted cabin baggage size (maximum length 56 cm, width of 45 cm and depth of 25 cm) must be checked in to be placed in the aircraft hold.
An exception to this is musical instruments, these are allowed on the craft as a second item of hand baggage. It is advisable to check with your airline before travelling if any special arrangements need to be made. |

| Approved Liquids |

| Now, certain liquids are permitted through Liverpool Airport within passenger's hand luggage. However, strict guidelines must be followed: |

| Approved liquids may be carried in liquids, however no greater than 100ml in volume and each carried in a separate container. |
| |
| Each container of 100ml liquid has to be then placed in a single, transparent, re-sealable plastic bag - this bag must not exceed 1 litre in capacity (approximately 20cms x 20cms) - see below. The bag must be able to be sealed shut. And only once such bag is allowed per passenger. |

This bag of liquids has to be screened by security. |

| Any liquids that can't fit inside the plastic bag have to be carried in passenger's main luggage. |

| Approved liquids include: |
| |
- Drinks - water, syrups, squash - and also soups
- Lotions, creams, oils, perfumes
- Sprays of deodorant or pressurized containers
- Dental pastes
- Shower and hair gels
- Solutions of a similar consistency

| Baby Food |
| |
| Flying with baby foods - please be advised that baby foods and sterilised water are permitted in larger quantities above the 100ml limit but only sufficient for the journey. These liquids will be subject to a taste test at airport security. |

| Essential Medicines |
| |
| Flying with medicines - please be advised that it is permitted to take essential medicines for the duration of your trip but they will be subject to the following authentications. You must obtain written permission from the airline and the airport. You should also have documentation from a qualified medical professional such as your GP or consultant. |

| Hand Luggage |
| |
| Hand luggage should be no bigger than 56cm x 45cm x 25cm |
| |
| Wheelchairs, pushchairs etc. are allowed in addition to the one piece of hand luggage allowed. |

| Electricals & Laptops |
| |
Electrical items being carried in hand luggage have to be removed at security for screening. As will laptops, and if being carried in a special case will also have to be removed.
Do note, a laptop bag is considered a passenger's one piece of allowed hand luggage. |

| |
Baggage that is too big to carry as hand luggage will have to stowed in the aircraft hold.
If you are travelling with guitars or other such musical instruments check with your airline concerning their rules of carriage. Normally these are allowed in addition to one piece of hand luggage, however if very large an extra seat may need to be purchased. |
